DESCRIPTION:
Top Best 5188 is a reinforced, self-adhesive, heat curable composite material based on epoxy resin with glass fibre. It can be used in the automotive body, cure with electrophoretic paint and strengthens after curing. Good performance on resistance of the electrophoretic paint and pre-treatment liquid providing strong adhesion to the base metal. The tape is a reactive adhesive and storage temperature affects the shelf life and ideally should be stored below 35°C.
APPLICATION:
Apply to automotive body steel, CRS, galvanised metal sheeting, aluminium, oily plate (oil up to 3g/m²) to reduce noise and suppress vibration. Remove the backing paper and apply the application surface to the adhesive sheet to seal before curing under 160°C to 210°C for 30 to 60 minutes. |
